I’ve been to LITT Pinball Bar a few times over the years so it seemed like the perfect day date adventure for my birthday!
I’m very pro activities associated with childhood being reclaimed as acceptable adult activities. I have to confess that the first time I went to LITT was back when it had recently opened as TILT. I was there to meet up with a tinder date and was optimistic, yet very skeptical, that it would be fun because I personally find Up-Down to be overwhelming (super crowded and not a lot of moving room), but I am happy to report I was wrong. He may not have been right for me*, but LITT sure was 😄.
Pinball:

Things I love:
✅ Locally owned & operated
✅ Kids are allowed under adult supervision until 9pm, but afterwards it’s 21+
✅ 3 rows of games with ample room between them so you don’t feel claustrophobic
✅ Each machine has a box/ledge/table next to it so you can easily set your beer down (level unlocked there!)
✅ They use quarters in their games which I very much prefer to having to purchase tokens that don’t work in the real world if you end up with extra
Things that could be improved upon:
❌ I get that the aesthetic is more “dive bar,” but the bathrooms are gross 😂
That’s it, honestly…other than parking, but that’s not their fault! If you’re a more avid pinballer they also host monthly tournaments and leagues. They also list the current games on their website.
Drinks:

Wild State Pear Cider: Juicy, sweet, balanced. 5.6%
They have draft beer, cans, and cocktails! They also offer THC drinks, too.
Snacks:

Chili Cheese Dip: Chili, White Cheddar Sauce, Tortilla Chips
The main offering is specialty hot dogs, but they also have a variety of dips/apps, tacos, and sandwiches. The Chili Cheese dip is the only thing I’ve ever eaten there, but the Mac & Cheese hot dog is on my list for next time.
Atmosphere/Service:

WARNING: Pinball is addicting. $60 in quarters later and 3 hours later, it honestly felt like we had only been there an hour! To be fair I’m competitive and I was going HAM on Mars Attack. Unfortunately my score of 6billion was still nowhere near the high score listed 😂.
Super fun activity for a date or even just on your own!

*I’d also like to mention that during this visit, on my birthday, with my husband YEARS later, I saw him there and I very much bobbed and weaved on a mission impossible level between the machines hoping he wouldn’t see me or recognize me, because that was one awkward conversation that I was avoiding like the plague hahahaha
