Standard

Ever since I was introduced to a Caesar Salad Chicken Crust Pizza this summer (you can find that recipe here) it has made frequent dinner appearances at our house. However, I’ve been wanting to push myself to try another variation so I was excited that my and husband’s experiment to create an Alfredo Chicken Crust Pizza was such a success – and it’s very easy!

Chicken Crust Pizza – Alfredo Pizza

Full Ingredients List:

  • 1 lb Ground Chicken (I used canned and it worked great!)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup + 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • Garlic Powder
  • Minced Onion
  • Italian seasoning
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Optional: red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup Alfredo Sauce (we used a pre-made with basil)
  • 1ish cup Shredded Mozzarella
  • 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic

Step 1: Chicken Crust

  • lb Ground Chicken (I used canned and it worked great!)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • Garlic Powder
  • Minced Onion
  • Italian seasoning
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Optional: red pepper flakes
  1. Combine all the above ingredients in a bowl and mix.
  2. Lay out on a parchment lined pizza pan and spread it out to about 1/2″ thick or less (thinner = crispier)
    • I used a fork to mash which worked out great
  3. Bake at 450 for 20 minutes.

Once the crust is done, it’s time to make assemble the pizza!

Step 2: Pizza Assembly

  • Alfredo sauce (we used a pre-made with basil)
  • Shredded Mozzarella
  • Minced Garlic
  • 1/4 cup Shredded Parmesan
  1. Spread the minced garlic over the crust (to taste)
  2. Using the alfredo sauce, pour it in the middle and spread out with the back of a spoon.
  3. Spread cheese evenly across the pizza
  4. Sprinkle the rest of the shredded parmesan
  5. Place back in the oven at 450 degrees and cook until cheese is melted, then finish it in the broiler for the golden brown color.
  6. Enjoy!

Unlike the Caesar Salad pizza, this one is also doable for leftovers, which is a win for me who likes cold pizza! I think next time we’ll try adding mushrooms, too.
