Ever since trying out Northern Tap House at their Plymouth location I have been counting down the days until the Woodbury location opened.

Drinks:

The Big Dill Bloody Mary: Dill infused vodka, a giant pickle, two pickle dry rubbed wings, Minnesota sushi, and dill fried pickles

I love myself a meal with my bloody mary and Northern Tap House is known for their bloody mary creations. Ever since seeing this pickle masterpiece I’ve been lusting after it. It met all expectations.

In addition to their bloody marys they do have a really good local tap list (which makes sense being a tap house, eh?) and also a full bar. All around wins.

And yes…there is an espresso martini on the menu I will be trying out next time.

Snacks:

Chopped Cheese: Seasoned ground beef, American cheese, sautéed onions, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and house aioli with waffle fries and seasoned sour cream

I was excited to see a chopped cheese, because I’ve never tried one before. These are right up my alley, especially because they’re wrapped up so they don’t get my hands dirty!

Truffle Shroom Burger: Garlic butter mushrooms, Swiss cheese and truffle mayo on a pretzel bun with waffle fries and seasoned sour cream

Husband got the truffle shroom burger and devoured it.

Dill Cheese Curd: Fried Ellsworth Dill Pickle Seasoned Curds, seasoned with dill pickle dry rub and served with creamy dill sauce

As an added bonus I’m including a photo of the dill cheese curds from my other visit, because they deserve a moment haha. They are so good. Just the right hint of dill without being overpowering.

Atmosphere:

This place has never not been packed since it opened. Do not go without putting your name on the waiting list online first.

Our server was great even while it was chaotically busy and the food was good. We are very excited its right around the corner and will definitely be back.
