I already reviewed Northen Taphouse in Woodbury a couple years ago, but we recently tried out their weekend brunch menu so I needed to share!

Feast Buffet & Banquet | Woodbury, MN
StandardHusband has been wanting to try out Feast Buffet & Banquet in Woodbury ever since we saw signage that it was coming almost a year ago. While we moved to South St. Paul last fall before Feast officially opened, we used to live down the street and were excited to see something different coming to that space, a space that has seen quite a bit of restaurant turnover through the years.
Full disclosure, it took some convincing for me to go.
- I don’t particularly like buffets, because my eating style just isn’t exactly conducive. I get full pretty quick, but then can have a snack a few hours later, whereas at a buffet the goal is to eat as much as you can immediately.
- As a marketer who used to be a marketing manager for a restaurant group, I find it sketch that I have yet to find their official website and/or social media accounts. There are quite a few sites saying they carry their menu and many influencers/websites who have covered their opening on Google, but I want my information to be official.
- Last fall, some of the local foodies I followed posted some concerns and not the best experiences, so I wasn’t sure if it would be worth it.
With all that on the table (#dadjoke), we decided to go for dinner on a Tuesday night. Overall, while I did enjoy some aspects, it is probably not somewhere we’ll go back to. My full review is below.

StandardKeeping up the tradition of the last couple years I wanted to share 12 of my favorite foods of 2025. This year, due to my husband and I buying a house we did a lot less eating out, but it was still hard to pick just 12 dishes. So without further ado, sharing in no particular order…

StandardAngelina’s Kitchen in Woodbury was actually one of mine and husband’s first date night spots back when he was trying to impress me so it was fun to go back and revisit now after over 2 years of marriage.

Continue readingHope Breakfast Bar | Woodbury, MN
StandardI’ve previously visited Hope Breakfast Bar in St. Paul so I was excited to hear that they were opening one up so close to me in Woodbury.
We went for a Saturday brunch and lucked out that it was still warm enough outside to sit on the patio. Definitely recommend you have a reservation as the place is very small and generally book up at all locations.
Continue readingSouthern Social | Woodbury, MN
StandardIt’s been open for a few months so it was time to check out Southern Social in Woodbury.
I’m not normally someone who loves ribs and other barbecue sauce type items so I have been putting off the visit, but I’m glad I went!
Continue readingCrisp & Green | Woodbury, MN
StandardWe’ve been frequenters of Crisp & Green in Woodbury since it opened, but you can only eat salads so I am insanely excited that they now have wraps!
Continue readingBebe Zito | Woodbury, MN
StandardI’d previously tried out Bebe Zito at Malcolm Yards Market so I was very excited to see that one was coming to Woodbury, Minnesota and when I realized it was opening in Woodbury Lakes it was a Hallelujah, because Woodbury Lakes has long needed a quick/fast casual food stop, which will hopefully revive the shopping center!
Sharing some of the hits and misses of my visit below.
