A friend and I stumbled upon the Brickhouse when we were searching for a place to grab some rooftop cocktails in White Bear Lake and it was definitely what I like to think Bob Ross would consider “a happy accident.”
Appetizers:

Saku Block Tuna: Sesame-seared Ahi Tuna, poke glaze, sriracha avocado, green onions, crispy onions, rice paper, pickled ginger, wasabi
The original plan was just to grab a couple cocktails, but when I saw the menu I could not resist ordering a couple things. The tuna was cooked to perfection and the accoutrements made for the perfect dish. I also LOVED the presentation of the rice paper in the form of a taco shell bowl.

Summer Hummus Platter: Roasted garlic hummus, house pickles, tomato remedy, cucumber, red onions, sumac, mint, olive oil, served with naan and crackers.
Again, this hummus was prepared to perfection and the combination of flavors was a perfect little treat for a summer afternoon on a rooftop!
Drinks:

Nitro Espresso Martini on Draft: Etesia Vodka, Manly Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur, Chiot Montamaro, Premium Organic Espresso Cold Brew
Basic Bee: Kettle One Grapefruit & Rose, St. Germain, Honey, Grapefruit
We all know I’m a sucker for an espresso martini so although I was a bit hesitant about a “draft” option, this Brickhouse exclusive was REALLY good. 10/10 would recommend.
My friend ordered the Basic Bee and I, obviously, tried a sip. I think it had the right amount of sweet without it being too overpowering.
Atmosphere/Service:

The rooftop was stunning. I would recommend dressing up a bit if you are planning to eat inside, though, it felt more up-scale.
The food was great and hopefully I’ll get back soon to try more!
