My family was trying to find a place to grab lunch and my sister and I had just driven by Mi Pueblo and realized they were open now so we decided that’s where we should all go – we ended up very happy with our choice!

Mi Pueblo is located in a space where a few restaurants have been in over time, but I was really impressed with the interior and food.

Food:

Queso Dip

We started off with a couple queso dips for the group and it may or may not surprise anyone that one of the two ended up directly in front of me and was the one that was finished first hahaha.

Quesabirria: Birria quesadillas served wtih rice and side of consomé

I didn’t remember to take photos of anyone else’s food but mine, because in a large group it just wasn’t feasible, but I did take a picture of my quesabirria and I will say it was fantastic and I’d order it again every time. My dad ordered the burrito and I can confirm it was huge.

What I loved about their menu that felt different was that they had multiple options for different menu items. Instead of just 1 quesadilla, nacho or enchilada option, etc they have 5+. You can truly find whatever flavor profile you’re looking for.

Drinks:

The night before we were all at a 40th birthday party, so I was not exactly in the physical condition to have a cocktail and opted just for a diet cola so I can’t review the drinks (I’m sorry 😬). However, they have a full bar, good margarita options, and beers on tap, too.

Atmosphere/Service:

Stillwater now has a handful of Mexican restaurants, but I do think being the newest one they have an advantage that their interior feels the most modern. Stillwater is the 5th Mi Pueblo location in Minnesota so they know what they’re doing.

Our server was great and as you can tell we had a great time.
