Saint Paul Brewing St. Paul Minnesota Hipster Hack
Standard

I’ve previously dedicated an entire Hipster Hack to my love of the Saint Paul Brewing patio and the eclectic seating vignettes, but now that it’s too cold to be outside (remind me why I live in Minnesota again?) we’ve been able to experience the back of the brewery, which also homes a bunch of eclectic seating areas and funky, recycled designs.

Cliff notes: this brewery is my absolute favorite. But keep reading if you require more evidence 😂

Snacks:

Sweet Goat Surprise: Roasted mushrooms, sauteed onions, goat cheese, honey, seasoned cream & mozzarella

The plan was to just play cribbage and drink beer, but we got one whiff of baking bread and we immediately abandoned our previous dinner plans without a second thought 😂 The pizza menu is smaller than it was over the summer and they were cooking outside, but there is still a good mix of pizzas, appetizers, sandwiches and salads to choose from.

We decided on the Sweet Goat Surprise! pizza and it had a unique mix of tangy (goat cheese) and sweet (caramelized onions).

Chips & Dip: House made potato chips with a side of dill dip

Dill is the best herb in the world. Cheese is the only thing in the world I love more than dill which is saying A LOT 😂. I loved the dill dip and would gladly eat it every day.

Beer:

Crooks Haven: English style porter with hints of chocolate, rye toast and a touch of smoke 6.5% ABV

Bermuda Triangle: Belgian Triple brewed with Belgian Candi Sugar and Orange Blossom honey. 9.1% ABV

Porters and stouts are my go-to beers so I ordered the Crooks Haven and was pleased with the chocolatey flavor. Husband ordered the Bermuda Triangle and liked the lightness of it.

Atmosphere:

Althought I got annhilated in cribbage, at least I had beer and dill dip to wash away the taste of defeat haha.

Honestly, I just cannot with how much I love the decor and the vibe of this brewery so I snapped a couple photos of the areas that were vacant to share.

Service is always great and I also love that you’re able to scan a QR code and place your order at the table. 10/10 would recommend always.
