Living in Woodbury, Tamarack Tap Room is a go-to for us (you can read the previous reviews here).

So this review is dedicated to the three new items we tried for the Spring 2024 menu.

Snacks:

Burrata: 4oz burrata baguette, pesto, prosciutto, balsamic glaze, marinated tomatoes, everything bagel seasoningouse-fried and tossed in truffle salt served with caramelized onion dip

I love burrata and the flavoring of this with the accoutrements was really good. I did not love the toast. I felt like it was too bulky when pita chips would have been easier. It’s definitely not pretty to eat so don’t be afraid to get in there.

Mains:

Tuscan Flatbread: Roasted cherry tomatoes, sauteed spinach and garlic, garlic cream sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese, Italian garlic sausage, balsamic glaze, parmesan, basil

I tried to tell husband that I’m the reason that they added a couple new flatbreads to the menu, because when they asked on Instagram for people to share what types of menu items they wanted to see I asked for more flatbread options…he rolled his eyes, but I’m still going to pretend I had anything to do with it hahaha.

This was hands down the best item we had. I also love the Amanda White Out, too, if you’re looking for a different flatbread to try.

Cream Cheese Wonton Burger: Beef patty, red cabbage tossed in sweet chili sauce, cream cheese, jalapenos, mayo, crispy wonton strips, brioche bun

Husband got the cream cheese wonton burger – and obviously I tried it, too. I don’t love cabbage, but I think the combo was really good. He really liked the sweet and spicy combo.

Drinks:

Giggle Juice w/Tito’s: Choice of: Teremana Blanco, Tito’s, Bacardi, or Tanqueray. Chinola Passion Fruit Liqueur, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup

This was my first time trying the Giggle Juice and it was good, although not something I’d order often – I’m an espresso martini or Tito’s Soda type of girl whereas this is a pretty citrus forward drink. I can definitely tell why it’s popular, though!

Atmosphere/Service:

As I said, we’re regulars so obviously the service and atmosphere is one we vibe with! Very excited that patio season is back!
