When I previously lived in Northeast, Minneapolis Food Trucks were a standard diet staple as we bopped around from brewery to brewery. Food trucks are my absolute favorite way to eat, because I can easily graze and try one item from each place.
I recently became a Twin Cities Hummingbird and was asked to share my favorite Food Trucks in honor of the holiday so below I’m going to share my favorite 5 food trucks*
*I am making a very conscious effort to only pick food trucks and not include food stands, so if you want my list of ultimate “fair” foods you can check out any of my previous blogs.
1. Yang Yumm

Mochi Cheese Dog: Mozzarella cheese coated in hot cheetos crust
I just experienced Yang Yumm for the first time at the Stillwater Food Truck Extravaganza and it skyrocketed to the top of my favorite things list.
2. Animales BBQ

Sampler
Animales Barbeque Co can be found at Bauhaus Brew Labs in Northeast Minneapolis.
3. KCM Eggroll

Giant Eggroll on a Stick
I’ve been a KCM fan for years. Their jumbo eggroll on a stick is elite.
4. Amazing Momo

Beef Steamed MoMo
I LOVE Amazing Momo (as witnessed by my rave reviews). In addition to the food truck they do have brick & mortar locations as well. Momos are a Tibetan/Nepali dumpling and I cannot resist getting these when they’re anywhere near me.
5. El Coronel

Al Pastor Tacos
The El Coronel taco truck used to be outside of River Siren Brewing in Stillwater…it looks like they have some pending news to share so not sure if they’re still stationed there, but if you come across them – don’t hesitate.
CHEERS!
