I’d previously tried out Bebe Zito at Malcolm Yards Market so I was very excited to see that one was coming to Woodbury, Minnesota and when I realized it was opening in Woodbury Lakes it was a Hallelujah, because Woodbury Lakes has long needed a quick/fast casual food stop, which will hopefully revive the shopping center!
Sharing some of the hits and misses of my visit below.
Snacks:

The Bebe Burger: A beef & bacon (pork) patty, American cheese, special sauce, Grandma Connie’s pickles and lettuce.
I added bacon to my burger because, duh. This burger is great…minus realizing that the pickles were not dill….I hate sweet pickles.
I’ve had this burger before and I do believe that across locations it was consistently made, which is great. The fries were also great.

Cheese Curds in Bebe Zito Sauce: Beer battered white cheddar cheese curds served as a square.
Sauce Boss: Honey Mustard, Ranch, House Special Sauce & Grandma Connieโs pickles.
These cheese curds were not my favorite and not something I’d order again. First off, because I got the sauce not realizing (as I said before) that they were sweet pickles instead of dill I was already put off. No shade meant to Grandma Connie, but you should put a warning label on that ๐. I absolutely hate sweet pickles, so I ate around them as much as I could, but half of the dish was left uneaten.
The cheese curds themselves were more batter than I’m used to. It almost tasted like a cheese pastry instead of a fried cheese curd. Not my personal taste.
I hate leaving negative reviews because a lot of time taste is simply subjective, so I did want to share that although I did not enjoy this item, on my previous visit I tried the cheddar tots and really enjoyed them.
Drinks/Ice Cream:
Drinks wise they serve by the bottle/can instead of fountain, which make sense for their location, etc, but I did wish there was a fountain drink, personally.
We did not have room for ice cream, but I wanted to share because they are known for their ice cream and they have my absolute favorite flavor available – frosted animal cookie yummmmmm.
Atmosphere/Service:

Up front they have self service ordering kiosks which we used as no one was at the register (It was a weekday before lunch rush so makes perfect sense they were doing other things). It did take about 20 minutes to make, which was longer than I expected, however I’m not sure if that is abnormal or not for them. There were 2 other orders in front of ours and I’m unsure how staffed the kitchen was on a weekday.
