I previously visited the Apostle Supper Club last year with a friend and remember telling Husband that he had to go back with me because he’d love it and I added it to our list… finally over a year later we made it back 😬.

Appetizers:

Fried Green Tomatoes: Whipped Basil Chèvre, Tomato-Bacon Jam, Pickled Shallots, Saba

Husband’s critique is that he wished the tomatoes were cut a little thinner, but both of us enjoyed the flavors.

Main Course:

Grilled Tomahawk Pork Chop: 14oz Herb Marinated Fischer Farms Pork Chop, Roasted Gold Potatoes, Grilled Asparagus, and Marsala Mushroom Sauce

I was waffling between the pork chop and the fish and chips, but went with the pork chop off the server’s recommendation. It was cooked really well and I really enjoyed the mushroom sauce. Yummmm.

Short Rib Pappardelle : Red Wine Braised Beef Short Rib, Sautéed Mushrooms, Red Wine Jus, Parmesan, and Burrata

Husband got the short rib pappardelle and let me try it so I can say the ribs were very good!

Drinks:

False Eyedoll: Rumhaven Coconut Rum, House Rum Blend, Peach Schnapps, Lychee, Mango

Our server accidentally gave me the False Eyedoll so I was able to try it before I got my drink corrected! It reminded me of everything I used to drink in college…completely due to the coconut rum haha. It was really good, just not what I was in the mood for!

Pomegranate Spritz: Prosecco, POM, Cranberry, Lavender Syrup

This drink is perfection. Heavy on the prosecco, but with the POM it was the perfect mix. Highly recommend trying this.

Atmosphere/Service:

As expressed in my last review I really like the space and vibe. We ended up sitting in the section next to the garage door so I was able to also peek outside to see the tiki bar which looked really fun!

We were warned that our server was busy and service may be a bit slow, so we were prepared and definitely understanding of the situation, but it would be a lie to say it didn’t impact the experience. I know they were doing their best so I am trying to be sensitive to it, but when you’re trying to have a good time it’s never fun to have to work to get your server’s attention.

All-in-all, it was a fun to be able to bring husband to a new spot!
