I’ve previously visited Hope Breakfast Bar in St. Paul so I was excited to hear that they were opening one up so close to me in Woodbury.
We went for a Saturday brunch and lucked out that it was still warm enough outside to sit on the patio. Definitely recommend you have a reservation as the place is very small and generally book up at all locations.
Snacks:

Fried Chicken & Waffles: boneless buttermilk-brined chicken, waffle & jalapeño maple syrup
When I saw that they had a chicken & waffles option on their menu without the bone I was immediately sold. I did sort of feel like a little kid eating chicken tenders for breakfast haha, but I would get it again.

Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs: country fried steak & eggs w/ hash browns, biscuit & mushroom sausage gravy
Husband was very pleased with his Chicken Fried Steak…which is his favorite breakfast of all time.
On previous visits I have had the breakfast sandwich, the giant pretzel, and the carnitas and so far there hasn’t been anything I would say NOT to order!
Drinks:

Breakfast Shots: Birthday Cake (tito’s, bailey’s, oat mlk, white chocolate) & Irish Coffee (jameson, kahlua & cold brew)
Yeah…obviously I convinced husband we needed breakfast shots…is it even brunch if you’re not trying to get a little tipsy?! These were super fun and to me more about the ambiance.

Hope Mimosa & West 7th Cereal Bowl (rumchata & milk blended w/ captain crunch)
I’ve had the West 7th Cereal Bowl before so while I debated trying something new or going with my tried and true – the espresso martini – I decided to go with my gut and to have a little nostalgic adult fun! It truly tastes like the boozy bottom of a cereal bowl. LOVE.
Atmosphere/Service:

As I said previously, definitely make a reservation. The patio was fun to be on, because it was a beautiful day, but you are subjected to the never ending line up at starbucks, so if you get food shy and don’t like to eat with an audience, I’d suggest trying to sit inside.
One note on the inside is that it is LOUD. Because it is close quarters and the tables are packed together, depending on how busy it is you will likely be talking over the tables around you.

Our server was friendly and overall it is exciting to have a new brunch spot in Woodbury!
