After weeks of attempting, I finally made it to the Northeast Minneapolis Farmers Market this morning. The Farmers Market happens every Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm in the parking lot of the Saint Boniface Church off on the corner of University and 7th Avenue…conveniently across the street from Emily’s Lebanese Deli which you can get my review about next week!
I’m actually ashamed to admit that I’ve never been to a Farmers Market mostly because everyone else in my life seems to be obsessed with them and I feel like I could have been experiencing so much all these years.
Extremely cheap, fresh produce:
Seriously….extremely cheap. I got a box of green beans, 4 bell peppers, and an eggplant for $7.00.
Fresh cut flowers, sauces, pure honey, clothing, and even live music.
The Farmers Market was by far the best way I’ve spent a sunny Saturday morning in Northeast. If you get a chance you should definitely be sure to make it there. The Northeast Minneapolis Farmers Market goes until Saturday, October 25th.
My roommate, Carrie, recommends you buy the Kohlrabi…
