Donuts are bae. When I heard that Glam Doll Donuts was opening a second location in Northeast, I was excited to finally be able to try them out. I’ve always heard amazing things about their boutique donuts and knowing it is a female owned business touched me in all the feels.

Food:

I was a little overwhelmed, because they all looked delicious and it was hard for me to commit to just one, so I ended up getting the “Sweetheart” with pink glaze and this guy up top – “The Calendar Girl.” Both were good, but I was a little disappointed that there weren’t more crazy options to choose from like at Voodoo Donut in Portland..I’m a sucker for cereal donuts. They were also quite pricey when you consider you can pick up a dozen donuts at Cub Foods for $10. To each their own, though!

Pro Tip: I committed to my donuts too soon and choose ones out of the first glass, be warned that there are more selections as you go around the corner, so you may want to give yourself a minute to pick!

I do also think it’s important to mention the existence of the Mac & Cheese Donut and the Bourbon Donut. While I didn’t try either of these, becasue it was 9 in the morning, I’m definitely intrigued to go back.

Service:

They were really efficient and friendly, especially since there was quite the line already.

Atmosphere:

It almost had a coffee shop vibe where people were clearly planning on hanging out for a bit. There was a decent amount of seating and the lots of natural lighting through the windows.
