Our adventure to Bass Lake Cheese Factory started with my brother-in-law innocently breaking out their cheese and ended with my sister insisting we go there to get a Silly Dilly Grilled Cheese since I had never been and they now have a bar! It WAS her birthday party so who am I to fight with her about going to a cheese factory and eating cheese curds?!
Food:
Bass Lake Deep Fried Cheese Curds: Served with Bass Lake’s zesty dipping sauce
I’ve never met a cheese curd I didn’t like. These were no different. I didn’t love the dipping sauce, but I don’t need sauce for cheese.
BL Cheese: Grilled cheese on Texas toast with co-jack cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo
Any grilled cheese made with Texas toast is a-ok in my book. This was pretty delicious.
Silly Dilly: Onion chive cheddar with tomato, pickles, and ranch
This was the sandwich Ashley insisted I had to try. It was delicious and next time this is the one I’d pick for sure.
Drinks:
They have a full bar.
Service/Atmosphere:
They have restaurant and bar seating. with really fun, historic looking decorations. I completely forgot to take a picture so you’ll have to take my word for it that it’s old fashioned cute. They also have slots and pull tabs so you can’t be bored.
Service was quick and they have these really cute serving trays they use that I want badly. Fun vibe and fun place to randomly end up!
