After months of driving past it and saying “oh shit, we keep forgetting about that place,” we finally made it to Devil’s Advocate in Stillwater for a very quick dinner before my nephew’s soccer game.
Appetizer:

Duck Bacon Wontons: Duck bacon, cream cheese, corn, red pepper, truffle aioli
I’m a sucker for a duck bacon wonton and these were delicious.
Main Course:

Filet Frites: 2 x 6oz filet steaks, whiskey peppercorn cream sauce, truffle fries, truffle aioli
The truffle fries were perfection and the truffle aioli had a really good flavor to it. My steak was a little fatty, but cooked really well.

Steak Salad: 10oz New York strip, blue cheese, house pickled bell peppers, tomato, cucumber, red onion, romaine lettuce, croutons, balsamic vinaigrette
Fiance got the Steak Salad and although this had a behemoth of a steak, he’s been loving completely disregarding that and talking about how he is so healthy because he had a salad for dinner haha.
Drinks:

They have a specialty cocktail list as well as beer and wine. I am unable to find the menu online so I cannot remember exactly what my drink is called, but it had blueberry and was delicious. Fiance had an Old Fashioned (of course).
Atmosphere/Service:
We lucked out that they had a high-top available for us, I would definitely recommend making a reservation to be sure. We were in and out in an hour which was what we needed to be so the service was quick and the food came out fast, which was appreciated!
Overall the food was good and we’re excited to come back to try the pizza (after this month of course haha).
3.5 stars.
