We had some friends staying in town who requested a brewery for drinks and dinner and I knew just the place: Inver Grove Brewing Co. Since moving to South St. Paul last fall I’ve only heard great things so I was excited to finally get over there to try it!
Full disclosure I totally forgot to take any photos other than my food and drinks, because we were too busy talking and laughing so the below will be a little short, but the vibe inside is really nice and they also have a patio!
Food:

Jumbo Mozzarella Stick: Hand breaded jumbo mozzarella cheese stick, served with IGB tomato sauce.
We got there first and were starving so when I saw the jumbo mozz stick it was an immediate yes. It was the perfect amount to share around the table and had such a tremendous cheese pull.

Dill Pickle Chicken Sandwich: Crispy seasoned chicken topped with pulled ham, cream cheese pickle spread, lettuce, and tomato
I thought the chicken sandwich was really crispy and I really liked their aioli with my fries. I didn’t really taste the dill of the pickle spread, however my if you want the dill you can get the dill pickle pizza which one of our friends got and really enjoyed.
Husband got the Bacon Patty Melt (Grilled hamburger topped with pulled bacon, Swiss & American cheese, bacon jam, and red onion on grilled pumpernickel bread) which should be no surprise if you’ve been around here since he loves a Patty Melt and our other friend got one of the dishes from the tacos, bowls and naan section, which we discovered you can get any of those made as those three options, which I thought was such a cool way to make the menu fit everyone.
Drinks:

Espresso Martini: Vanilla Vodka, Kahlua, Cuppa More Pages Cold Brew
I realize this is a brewery, but I have to be in a mood to want a beer with dinner so I had some of the cocktails which were fantastic. You can see their on tap beer list here. Our friends did get a pack of the “Lime Bubble” to go, because they enjoyed it so much.
I of course started with (two) espresso martinis…oops. I think these had a good overall taste and they were visually exactly what you’d want.

Lavendar Spritz: Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Lavender, Lemon, Prosecco, Soda
I found the lavendar spritz to be really refreshing and a nice palate cleanser after espresso and fries.
Atmosphere/Service:
The indoor has a nice dining/brewery combo vibe and they have a great patio. We will be back.
