Indeed Brewing Company is one of my favorites. I’ve now experienced it during every season and while patio weather is clearly the most ideal, especially since they have a pretty legit food truck line-up, it’s still a really fun place to be in the winter.
Drinks:
I have a weakness for their seasonal varietals. Mexican Honey was by far my favorite, but I’m also a pretty big fan of the LSD which has a really intriguing Lavender component.
Last week I was privileged to get a tour from Indeed Bartender/Bouncer/Busser Extraordinaire, Ben Hering. The truly amazing thing about Indeed is how successful they’ve managed to be in such a short amount of time. They’ve really gotten their recipe and their distribution down and it was cool to get a behind the scenes look.
Food:
I don’t think I’ve ever tried a food truck I didn’t like. Of course there is always a problem of trying to find gluten-free options so Gluten-Free dietary restraints be damned, my Top 3 favorite food trucks at Indeed are:
Environment:
The patio is rave-worthy and Indeed definitely knows how to throw a parking lot party. They are also a great choice for a friendship gathering.
I love the open ceilings, the tables that have the carved names of visitors from the old milling magazine in them, and the giant painting by Chuck U, who is also the designer of the can art. This past year, the Midnight Ryder Black Ale Can was even chosen by some serious beer nerds as one of the top 10 coolest can designs.
Every detail of Indeed’s decoration is thought out. The brewery building is also home to a bunch of local art studios and artists.
Service:
The people here are so friendly and fun. They serve you quickly and with a smile.
Tip: Unless you are seated at a barstool the only way you will get served is to place your order in the “Order Here” line. (Novel concept, right?) So do yourself a favor and don’t be the asshole who thinks they can bypass the line. You won’t get served and will look like an idiot.
