331 Club (if you want to fit in I strongly suggest that you pronounce it three-three-one and not three hundred and thirty one or three thirty one) is another NE Dive Bar gem. There is literally something happening every night; bands, trivia, or even an adult spelling bee.

Drinks:

If you’re looking for a Mixologist this is not the place. On the menu are PBR tall boys and strong mixed drinks.

Snacks:

Hummus and pitas. This is a staple that should be at every bar.

Music:

This is probably the most consistent place for free live music in Northeast. There is pretty much a set every night (minus Blingo, Trivia, Spelling Bee, etc). The bands range from hipster to folksy hipster and I wouldn’t be surprised if I was to hear an accordion. It’s massively loud inside though, so if you’re looking for a conversation I’d strongly suggest going out on the patio.

Scene:

When this resides in the girls’ bathroom the possibilities are endless.

You can literally wear whatever you want here, which is great for a random weeknight and even better for a pedal pub stop.The last time I was there I was fortunate enough to bear witness to a couple exiting the girl’s bathroom after what I’m 99% sure was fornication.

It’s not the cleanest place, but dim lights make those bad life decisions a lot easier to swallow, right?

Service:

While they now accept plastic, I suggest cash, because on a busy night it can take a bit to be able to close out your tab. The waiters are pretty efficient, but you have to get there early enough to get a booth or a seat at one of the patio picnic tables to take advantage of it.

This bar is a fan favorite and a good choice for day drinking as well as night time ragers.
