We tried out the Don Oishi Kitchen Food Truck at Tattersall Distilling in Northeast Minneapolis.
The real hero is the person who initiated the first Brewery/Distillery and Food Truck partnership, because that person created the blueprint for socially acceptable drunk snacking.
Food:
Gyu Don: Stir fry beef and onion with special sauce and topped with yum yum sauce
I ordered the Gyu Don, made with beef and onions and served atop of rice. It was actually a pretty big portion, which was great since I tried to make it as “ketoish” as possible by not eating the rice haha
Gyoza: Pork potstickers
The potstickers were really good. They were perfectly fried and had a nice tang in the pork
Service:
They were really quick and friendly and the food was good! On thing is that they actually charge you less if you use cash instead of a card. While, I understand a cash preference, I didn’t see one person use cash instead of a card, so charging a sales tax + 3% fee for using a card is a little ridiculous. I don’t even think you can charge sales tax on food, right?
